No, we're not so lazy, as some might suppose, so far.
Here we are. Multitasking in full steam.
Those in Serbia who work in a project- based activities within art and cultural field know very well that last weeks are known as "Period of deadlines" for most Funds, Grants, so process of preparing and applying for whole 2013 was main activity. We followed same "rhythm" as other colleagues.
Still working on our book, which will include all our main activities of project About and around curating in first two seasons (December 2011- December 2012)- public talks with our guests (integral versions as interviews), workshops, our activities while we were guests, etc. Currently we work in several parallel lines (transcripts, texts, design), just to make everything ready for printed edition, both as hardcopy and downloadable .pdf document in two languages- Serbian and English. Too ambitiously, we believed that we will have that book before forthcomming Christmas, but.... . Anyhow, soon.
After 53rd October Salon we focused our main activities on Academic course About and around curating: The technology of the exhibition process / the realisationof the project– “real world ”, for group of 21 students from Arhitectural Faculty, Fine Arts Academy and future art historians, from Belgrade's University. Currently we are reaching to the end of this semester and planned activities (theoretical and preparational work) and looking forward for next step- supporting their art projects, which they develop in small groups of three (7 groups), with mutual goal- group exhibition, It is already known date for Opening- 28.02.2013. at Art Space U10.
We participated also on some seminars, research and study trips, events, workshops, conferences over last month or so as authors of project About and around curating, and/ or as representatives of our NGO ARTIKAL, Belgrade. And we continue with those activities with next week's Conference interestingly named "Why the civic sector is gone to... and what was my role in that process?".
So...
Study and research trip Bilbao...
Very soon...
